FAQs

Do you take insurance?
I do not take insurance but can provide you with a SuperBill that can be submitted directly to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Reimbursement is not a guarantee and is up to you to coordinate with your insurance provider.

How can I pay for my services with you?
The full session fee is due at the time of each appointment. I accept payment via cash, check, zelle or credit card. If you are from Lyra, I will bill them directly at the time of service for the number of sessions you are allotted. If you want to remain with me for further sessions, you will be responsible for the full session fee after each appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours.

How much will treatment cost?
Under the No Surprises Act (Section 2799B-6) health care providers are required to give clients who either do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical care and services. This is called a “Good Faith Estimate.” Information regarding the availability of a “Good Faith Estimate” must be prominently displayed on the health care provider’s website and on site where scheduling or questions about the cost of health care services occur.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Your health care provider should provide a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item in writing. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you received a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Please discuss this with your provider and make sure to save a copy or a picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

Do you prescribe medication?
Please note that while I do not prescribe medication as a psychologist, I am happy to work with your psychiatrist in order to provide you with the best care possible. I can also provide you with referrals to a number of well-respected psychiatrists in the community.

Townley was everything we were looking for and more. She helped us in communicating, understanding the source of our anxieties, and made us both understand each other's needs in a way we haven’t been able to do. She has greatly improved my quality of life, both personally and in my relationship.
