20th Anniversary of 9/11
Ride of Hope, September 2021
The mission of The Quell Foundation’s 9/11 Ride of Hope was to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. This event sought to raise philanthropic support to fund the continued development and implementation of the Foundation’s First Responder Mental Health Education and Training Program.
Over five days, we cycled from the 9/11 memorial in NYC to the Pentagon in Arlington, VA, and each mile of our journey represented our continued commitment to removing the stigma and normalizing the conversation around mental illness within the first responder community.
Townley's passion for supporting individuals with mental health challenges is evident in her tireless efforts to promote awareness, provide resources, and advocate for change. She is a skilled psychologist, brings a unique perspective as a person with lived experience, and has the ability to empathize with others and offer genuine support.
I am grateful for her ongoing partnership with The Quell Foundation, and I am fortunate to call her my friend.
